Calverley Childminding Group is made up of 13 Childminders who live in the Calverley area.

Childminder’s offer a tailored childcare service from birth upwards in a home from home environment, caring for low numbers of children ensuring each child’s individual needs are met. A flexible approach covering various working patterns, including part time hours, shift work and term time only contracts as well as ad-hoc and emergency care. We work in partnership with local schools and nurseries to provide pre-school nursery drop off and pick ups as well as before and after school care.
We are Ofsted inspected, Paediatric First Aid trained and hold Public Liability insurance. We attend regular training to further enhance the service we provide. We are also able to offer funding for 9 months, 2, 3 and 4 year olds as well as accepting Childcare Vouchers and Tax Free Childcare.
Babies and young children develop best when they are healthy, safe and secure, when their individual needs are met, and when they have positive relationships with the adults caring for them.
Our settings aim to provide children with an environment that is caring, fun and stimulating where they have access to a variety of resources, activities and daily routines. We enjoy opportunities to visit local places of interest such as the park, library, Tropical World, Rodley Nature Reserve, local Farm parks and many more. Our flexible approach means we can be spontaneous building on each child’s individual interests and needs; perhaps your child had a bad night and just needs the space to rest as they would at home.
It is a statutory requirement that all childcare providers follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. We track each child’s learning and development and plan challenging and enjoyable experiences for each individual child. We work in partnership with health care professionals providing the developmental progress check at age 2.
Calverley Childminding Group works harmoniously together with some meeting up once a week at Calverley Parkside Community room. Here the children get to meet up with friends and enjoy group activities. Many of the children see each other on a regular basis outside of the group creating lovely friendships.
